Beck und Bondi (Ad) ca 2006
For the swisscom Fixnet ongoing advertising show "Beck und Bondi", I was responsible for the diverse visual effects. The most complex work, was done for the two talking dentures. Besides shooting with the actor and backgrounds, additional elements like glasses, bubbles, saliva, and reference dentures were captured. The dentures were carefully reconstructed in 3D with complex surfaces and animated based on tracked mouth movements, giving them a quirky and humorous character. The water simulation, created in RealFlow, required extensive trial and error, with each glass taking about a day to compute. In total, more than 40 different 3D layers were combined in After Effects to achieve the final result.
